Toronto's Interlock Specialists

Interlock Restoration
in Toronto.

A meticulous 4-day polymeric sanding and sealing process, built on Gator Maxx G2 — for pavers that won't wash out, shift, or grow weeds.

Why It Matters

Bring your pavers back to like-new — for years

Toronto weather is hard on interlock. After a few years, weeds push up between the stones, sand washes out, joints shift, and colours fade. Most homeowners think it's time to replace the pavers — but in 95% of cases, a proper restoration is cheaper, faster, and produces a finish that lasts longer than the original.

Our 4-day restoration locks joints in place with Gator Maxx G2 polymeric sand, removes moss, efflorescence and stains, and seals the surface against oil, salt, and freeze-thaw damage — all backed by a written 1–3 year guarantee.

How It Works

The 4-day restoration process

Every interlock project follows the same proven sequence — no shortcuts, every step done by hand and by spec.

  1. 1

    Day 1 — Deep clean

We pressure wash the entire surface and deep-clean every joint, removing weeds, moss, old sand, dirt and biological buildup. The pavers are returned to their original colour and the joints are prepped for fresh sand.

  2. 2

    Day 2 — Re-sand & compact

We re-fill every joint with Gator Maxx G2 polymeric sand, then use a commercial-grade plate compactor to settle the sand deep into the joint. We repeat until every joint is full — locking the pavers into a solid, weed-proof surface.

  3. 3

    Day 3 — Efflorescence clean

Before sealing, we treat the surface with an efflorescence cleaner to remove the white mineral haze that builds up on older pavers. This step is what makes the sealed finish look rich and clean, not chalky.

  4. 4

    Day 4 — Seal

We apply a high-quality, oil-based solvent sealant that protects against oil, dirt, salt, anti-freeze and transmission fluid. Touch-dry in 1 hour, drive on in 8. Your driveway is back in service the same day.

Sealing Options

Three finishes — one perfect for your home

01

Matte (Satin)

An invisible finish that protects the pavers without altering their natural look. Best for homeowners who want the original stone colour preserved.

02

Semi-Gloss

A subtle sheen that lightly deepens the paver colour while still looking natural. A balanced choice between protection and finish.

03

High-Gloss

A rich, wet-look finish that enhances and deepens the stone's colour. The most dramatic option — perfect for feature patios and entryway driveways.

FAQ

Interlock restoration questions

More questions? Get in touch — we'll answer anything.

How much does interlock restoration cost in Toronto?

Pricing depends on the size and condition of the surface, so we give every customer a free, no-obligation on-site estimate. You'll get a clear written price before any work begins — and you save 10% if you book your project at the estimate.

How long does a typical project take?

The full restoration takes four days — one day each for cleaning, re-sanding, efflorescence treatment, and sealing. Weather may stretch the schedule slightly, but most driveways and patios are completed inside a week.

How soon can I drive on it after sealing?

Our solvent-based sealant is touch-dry in about one hour and ready to drive on after roughly eight hours. The sealant protects against oil, dirt, salt, anti-freeze and transmission fluid.

How long will the restoration last?

Properly restored interlock holds for years before needing another re-sand. The polymeric sand itself can last 10+ years; sealant typically lasts 2–3 years before a refresh. Every project carries our 1–3 year written workmanship guarantee.

Will weeds come back?

Gator Maxx G2 cures into a hardened resin in the joints, sealing out the gaps where weeds normally take root. With proper installation, weed regrowth is dramatically reduced for years.

Do I need to be home during the work?

No. Most homeowners go about their day. We just need access to the area and an outdoor water source. We'll confirm the schedule and any access details when we book.
